From Neuroscience to Real Estate

If you had told me years ago that I’d become a full-time realtor, I probably would have laughed.

My career started in neuroscience, studying brain trauma and working in behavioral research.

Later, I held leadership roles in biotech, helping teams grow and innovate. No matter the field,

there was always one theme that pulled me in … guiding people through change.


That’s what drew me to real estate, and why I love what I do today!

How My Journey Shaped Me


I grew up between Northern Virginia and England and have moved more than 25 times in my

life, with stops in Germany, the Cayman Islands, California, and back again to Virginia. All that

moving gave me a firsthand understanding of what it means to search for a sense of home. I

know the stress, the excitement, and the importance of finding the right place.


Not just a house, but a space where you belong.


My background in neuroscience and biotechnology gave me a unique perspective. I combine

data-driven precision with emotional intelligence. I approach every client’s journey with the

curiosity of a scientist and the care of a friend.


Finding My Path in Real Estate


I entered the real estate world in 2020. I actually listed my first home the day the pandemic

started. It was a trial by fire, but it confirmed that I was exactly where I needed to be. My very

first experience as a buyer at 22 revealed how confusing the process could be. No one

explained the paperwork, and I was left feeling lost. I knew I could do better for others, and that

experience lit the spark that drives me today.


Since then, I’ve been fortunate to help so many wonderful clients. In just one year, I closed over

$12.5 million in volume and 31 transactions. Earlier this year, I hit $7.5 million in sales in only

four months, and I’m on track to close $25 million in volume for the year. But for me, it’s never

just about numbers—it’s about making sure my clients feel confident and cared for every step of

the way.


My Approach


Real estate isn’t just about transactions. It’s about transformation. My clients aren’t simply

buying or selling homes, they’re building lives, creating belonging, and finding connection.

Whether I’m helping a first-time buyer or a relocating family, my goal is always to make the

process easier, clearer, and more empowering.


I also believe in collaboration. At Hunt Country Sotheby’s International Realty, I mentor fellow

agents and lead groups focused on growth and innovation. When we share knowledge, we all

rise together, and our clients benefit most of all.


Looking Ahead


I’m constantly thinking about the future of real estate. I’m building a podcast to help agents and

entrepreneurs simplify their businesses and create more successful lives. I’m also developing

new ways to use technology and community to make the real estate journey smoother and more

transparent.


But at the end of the day, my heart is in the same place it’s always been … with my clients. My
